The Lansana Education Assistance Program (L.E.A.P.)
Change a life, change the world
The Lansana Education Assistance Project (LEAP), a program of Greatest Goal Ministries USA, was created to support the education of Sierra Leone's disabled children and children of disabled adults. The project was named after the 4-year-old son of a Single Leg Amputee Sports Club (SLASC) player. In February 2007, while visiting his grandmother, Lansana accidentally drank from a cup containing caustic lye used in making soap. He remained hospitalized until his death on June 5, 2007. This project was named in honor of him and all children affected directly and indirectly by the war.
Please consider sponsoring one or more children. For $20.00/month, $60.00/quarter or $240.00/year, you can provide the necessary funding to allow a student the chance to learn. Click here to pledge your sponsorship to a specific child. If you would like more information about a specific child in need, please contact Brooke Stover, our sponsorship chair, at brooke@ggmusa.org.
How much to get involved? It is up to you!
